About Foundations in Math

Hi, I’m Teacher Keone! I started Foundations in Math because I love teaching and helping students feel confident in math. My journey started back in 2017 when a homeschool parent asked me to tutor their son—and he’s still learning with me today! I’m an Industrial Engineering graduate and used to work as a university assistant professor, but tutoring quickly became my true passion.

In 2020, I moved entirely online due to the pandemic, which turned out to be a great opportunity to connect with even more students. Now, I work with learners from grades 7 to 12, focusing on the basics and helping them build a solid foundation in math.

Math doesn’t have to be scary—it can actually be fun and rewarding. I’d love to help you feel more confident and achieve your math goals. Let’s get started!
